This is one particular of a quantity of devices I have purchased for a wide variety of modestly sized security systems. I acquire the pictures during daylight to be fantastic for the application (access and egress points) and the nighttime IR operates surprisingly nicely. I would commend these to a buyer who wants 'bang for the buck', has some modest exterior application concerns (wind, salt air, rain). Would recommend a dome for snow/icy circumstances.
Easy to install, operates from the moment it is plugged in, with no hitches, concerns, or problems. The elements are sturdy and I anticipate to use even more of these devices in the future. The 420 TVL deliver superior facial recognition, the color is beneficial, but the night capabilities are in particular good for the number of IR LEDs.
I agree with Greg in Nashville. Almost everything appears just also vivid peachey for me to think that a lot of these evaluations are written by business reps. Though I do like the camera... , the resolution is fairly fine (not amazing) through the day, the night vision is not that great. Also, I do not know how these people are recording with this camera (motion or otherwise). I tried it on two distinct systems such as my new Zmodo 8- Channel DVR and can not record with it. I can take nonetheless shots but again, can not record. Other than that...., it really is a good tiny camera for the price tag. Keep in mind men and women...., you get what you pay for....... :-)
