The Multi-Objective Respirator feature soft, comfortable, amazing fitting face pieces for superior comfort and protection, built-in exhalation valves and low profile replaceable cartridges for greater vision. Respirator comes in recloseable packaging for quick and safe storage. The Toxic Dust Respirator traps over 99.97 of toxic dust such as lead, asbestos and Hantavirus. Meets the most recent US government respirator standards (P100 Class), OSHA and NIOSH specifications. The Multi-Objective Respirator supplies further protection from paint fumes, (except urethane paints), pesticides, lead fumes, ammonia, asbestos and toxic dusts. Cartridges are interchangeable in between respirators. Inexpensive replacement Pancake Style Filters will fit either of the above respirators. I've put to use this respirator for over a year when employing rather sturdy cleaning fluids at home and airbrushing enamel, lacquer, and acrylic paints (some of them hugely toxic). It has performed highly well and has not let me down--I have not smelled or tasted any of the fumes at all. The mask is comfortable to wear for brief or medium periods of time (up to two or three hours or so, in my case) and is fairly lightweight--I have not needed to wear it for longer, so I cannot say how comfortable it would be after eight hours. It does not obstruct my vision and is compatible with my eyeglasses (a massive plus for me). The straps are hassle-free to adjust and let you to get a very good airtight seal whilst keeping comfort. Breathing via the filters is a bit tough, but easier than with other respirators I have worn. The only drawback I've had is moisture condensation inside the mask, but I have yet to uncover a respirator that doesn't have this trouble.
Employed even though spray-sealing our fence on a warm day. Was fairly comfy and I could not smell any fumes. Did not get overly warm while wearing it and breathing was easy. Significant improvement more than the paper-kind masks.
